Best description of belief I’ve seen in a while

In the United States today, the word belief conjures up all sorts of meaning. It seems like we are always fighting beliefs that are not our own. Whether we are fighting the belief of muslims that live half a world away, or our neighbor who believes something slightly different then we do.
For one, I think that a person’s belief is so central to what makes us human, we guard it religiously (pun intended). When people either attack our beliefs or disagree with our beliefs we take it personally.
Anyways, enough commentary about what we already know. My point is that Keith Ferrazzi just wrote an amazing blog post about a “Belief in God” clause from an organization he’s involved with. I was truly inspired by his explanation and I find myself agreeing with him quite a bit. Check it out.
